About me
Nutritional Therapy Practitioner
Lindsay Hay
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here and considering the opportunity to work alongside me. I’m Lindsay Hay, your new Registered Nurse and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner BFF. I’m a Jesus follower, proud wifey, mama to three hooligans (+ one fur child) and don’t believe in taking life too seriously. Dance parties, dirty hair and daily coffee are the norm around here. Thank you for coming to my little corner of the internet. I hope and pray it blesses you in some way or another!
My Story
My story involves working as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit for nearly a decade, where I saw firsthand the ill effects of poor lifestyle choices. Although I loved my time in the ICU, I knew my passion was shifting towards helping people with a more preventative approach. This led me into online fitness coaching, where I truly started to dive into long-lasting lifestyle changes. I learned so much during this time, but had a tainted view of what really made up a healthy body. I personally struggled through digestive woes, body image issues, under-nourishment, over-exercise and ultimately dealing with hormonal imbalances. Every month, leading up to my period, I felt like a different person. I was depressed, anxious and short-tempered with my family. I just assumed these were normal PMS issues, but one day I felt so defeated by how I was feeling and acting that I literally googled “PMS Survival Guide”. The search results left me wanting more, and so I dove deep into ALLLL the research. When I realized what a HUGE rabbit hole this was, and that a simple checklist or supplement wasn’t going to solve my problems, I knew I had to keep digging. This ultimately led me to the Nutritional Therapy Practitioner program.
